Rail Life was a company that I co-owned with 2 other partners. Bob Hager and myself came up with 99% of the ideas for the website, designed, and coded the website. It became very popular. We were getting around 80,000 to 100,000 hits on the site per month. At that point we experienced an issue with the third partner which resulted in a failure in the company.

I built and maintained the Data Warehouse. I also worked on various one-off applications in .NET, Cold Fusion, and Plum Tree.

I built and maintained a .NET application for doing 360 reviews of leadership. (full stack - frontend and backend). I was the sole developer on the project. I was responsible for gathering the requirements, designing the system, developing the system, and maintaining the system.

Created an online retail business for selling golf clubs and sporting equipment. I found a local wholesaler that sold me sporting goods and golf equipment at wholesale, and created a business. Volume was $1500 to $2000 a week. I created this business because my contract ended in October 2002 and it was hard to get a new one at that time, so I put my efforts toward this business and did it concurrently with my job for a while until it got to be too much of a time commitment to do both.

As Director of Development, I was responsible for developing leads for new work, meeting with potential clients, managing ongoing projects, addressing current clients needs, assigning staff to projects, and billing for projects. When needed I also solved big development issues on current running projects, or actively developed on projects that were beginning to fall behind schedule.I left when asked to over bill clients for work.

I was a full stack developer for many projects. I worked on solar projects that required Oracle Database, C++, Classic ASP, HTML, JavaScript, etc. to view data download via a modem to an oracle database, then presented on a website for both internal analytics and external sites for educational purposes.Other applications included HR, is360 (a management 360 review site), Power Broker (a power trading site) in C#, Excel and Office Applications, and various other projects involving Oracle and SQL Server databases, HTML, JavaScript, VB6, SSIS, Crystal Reports...

Created applications for apartments to do background checks, credit history checks, criminal checks, etc. in a VB6 desktop application. Worked on a website for NIKE for cataloging and ordering NIKE gear for athletes that they sponsored.

Responsible for applications that gather data and control different machines in the fabrication of semiconductors. This included programming in C++, Visual Basic, and Oracle. The desktop application allowed for remote tracking and control of the different fabrication machines, so it had to be state aware and tackle network and machine latency issues, as well as work-a-rounds for APIs related to machine state.

Handled some Y2k issues for the State of Arizona and thier prison system.

Worked on a cake printing applications for printing pictures on cakes with food coloring. Developed a shrink-wrap software application for use in the WIC program in different state governments. Developed a web site for an insurance company in New Jersey that required onsite development as well as remote development. Gathered requirements, created designs, and responsible for full-stack development.

Developed on the applications ProFit, a financial billing application for medical information systems, and on the Insurance information peice that interfaced with the billing system and the Superbill application for selecting covered procedures and prescriptions.

Provided phone support for Creative Labs soundcards and cd roms.
