Operate communication systems and consoles to affect positive control of assigned forces. Analyze and disseminate information derived from operational and readiness reports. Flight follows aerospace resources and monitor mission status. Relay command and control instructions for launch, execution, diversion, recall, evacuation, recovery, recycle, and reconstitution of forces. Operate and monitor voice and electrical communications systems including ground communication networks, ground-to-air and point-to-point communications systems. Maintain command post security and perform entry control and escort procedures. Receive and relay command and control instructions and record, collect, process, and submit manual and automated data products through the use of C2 systems (GDSS, WINPEX). Coordinate with other agencies and organizations during planning, executing, and evaluation phases of command and control operations. Maintain and provide communications security to include safeguarding, utilizing, inventorying, and destroying COMSEC material. Maintain and initiate quick reaction checklists supporting situations such as suspected or actual sabotage, nuclear incidents, natural disasters, aircraft accidents or incidents, evacuations, dispersal, and aerospace anomalies.
