Experienced Chairperson with a demonstrated history of working in the marketing and advertising industry. My passion is communications, and I’m an expert in my field. Just over 20 years ago, I founded Naked – a ground-breaking International communications agency. There, I helped household names like Coca-Cola and Unilever strengthen their brands, and pioneered the concept of media neutrality. I went on to transform Naked from a small start-up into an international powerhouse, with offices across the globe and a blue-chip client list. As Chairman of creative agency Karmarama, I developed an integrated service offering, and sharpening our capabilities in data and mobile technologies. At the same time, working with key clients to help them grow their businesses through strategic support and creativity. I have also applied my expertise at Accenture Song in a few key ways. Firstly, i was CSO of the communications group Globally. Secondly, I chaired the Global Creative Council, which comprises representatives from all our top creative agencies. Lastly I was part of the leadership of our UP programme focused on category innovation. My new working life, as founder of JonAndMates Consulting will see me working with the many amazing people, clients and agencies I’ve been fortunate enough to meet on my journey, using my expertise to help them grow soulfully, creatively, with integrity and humour! I’m honoured to be a regular speaker both in the UK and Internationally, from the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity to the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA). I’ve been working with the WFA for the past decade to drive initiatives around Integrated Marketing, Project Reconnect, and Better Marketing.
