As the Executive Director of MA Financial Group (previously part of Moelis & Co), my role in overseeing the company's data, technology, and AI initiatives has afforded me a unique perspective on the intersection of technology and finance.My career, spanning over a decade at Macquarie Group (top listed company on the ASX), has been marked by significant milestones, including serving as the CIO for Macquarie Capital in ANZ. In this role, I was instrumental in spearheading the technology strategy for the Moonshot initiative, a testament to my commitment to innovation and forward-thinking in the technology sphere. My journey also led me to Harvard, where I further honed my expertise in data analytics and artificial intelligence, solidifying my foundation in these critical areas of modern technology.Upon my return to Australia, I joined KPMG in a pivotal capacity as the National Leader of Regulatory Technology. This role further expanded my understanding of the regulatory landscape and its intricate relationship with technology advancements.In addition to my executive responsibilities, I am deeply involved in the broader technology and financial community. I serve as a non-executive director and treasurer for the RegTech Association's board and actively drive outcomes as a committee member in the Technology chapter of the Financial Services Council in Australia.
