Supporting the School of Biomedical Engineering's operations through the ongoing and comprehensive analysis of needs and strategically deploying resources to improve the experience of academics, staff, and students.Developing complex automated systems to reduce team workload and improve team focus allowing increased capacity and quality for deliverables.Liaising with a range of teams across the University including outreach, student life, and HR to ensure high-quality exposure of the school for internal and external stakeholders.

Working with the Faculty of Science to lead the technical delivery of their undergraduate peer mentoring program. In this role I redesigned the program's customised mentoring portal to improve the quality of mentee-to-mentor matching and overall experience. I have used my position between the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Science to strengthen our inter-faculty collaborations, consolidating resources and delivering increasingly exciting events for students.

During my time in this role I have tutored four classes in the unit of BMET2903: Introduction to Bioelectronics, totalling over 120 students. In my classroom, I have endeavoured to enrich the unit experience for my students by employing a clear, transparent, and personalised experience.These teaching experiences have comprised of whole-class presentations, small-group discussions, and direct 1-on-1 assistance to best support my students. Additionally, through marking I have provided students with clear and concise actionable feedback to help them improve throughout a semester of learning.

Worked closely with the Faculty of Engineering Student Life team to lead the ENGO Peer Mentoring Program delivery. Since holding the position of Program Coordinator, I have redesigned the mentoring program's format including the acquisition of the Professional Engagement Program (PEP) Mentoring Scheme, developed two iterations of an attendance tracking system, and worked closely with external vendors to guide the development of our online mentoring platform. Amongst other changes to the program such as increased student events, generation of comprehensive resources, and closer mentor-lead mentor partnerships, the program has observed over 100% year-on-year improvements in rates of engagement for the past two years. Further, many indicators of student experience now demonstrate the ENGO Mentoring Program hosting the strongest peer mentoring relationships across the University of Sydney.In this position, I have also acted as a consultant for both the Business School and Central student life teams to share learnings from my experiences with ENGO Mentorung to optimise the growth of their peer mentoring programs and strengthen interdisciplinary collaborations.

I was always accessible, offering guidance and answering questions to ensure students had the support they needed.In this role, I also organised and led academic enrichment sessions, designed to enhance my peers' learning experience. These sessions covered topics such as professional engagement for engineers, effective exam preparation strategies, and the use of LaTeX, a leading document preparation tool. During my internship at the RPA Transplant Institute, I collaborated with a team of undergraduate peers and PhD students on a groundbreaking project focused on the extended normothermic perfusion of human livers for the purposes of organ transplantation. Our objective was to enhance the viability and functionality of donor livers through advanced perfusion techniques.My responsibilities included sourcing and ordering critical electronics, coding drivers, and overseeing system integration using communication protocols such as MODBUS. I utilised my skills in Python and C programming to develop and optimise code for the system, which operated on a Linux-based host computer. This hands-on experience in a high-stakes, multidisciplinary environment not only honed my technical expertise but also reinforced my ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.

During my semester at Rubix Learning, I provided tailored tutoring in mathematics and science for high school students. My role involved designing engaging lesson plans that catered to individual learning styles and academic goals. In addition to one-on-one tutoring, I collaborated with the Rubix team to create a supportive and motivating learning environment during the foundational stages of the company. This experience allowed me to refine my teaching skills and contribute to students' academic growth, solidifying my commitment to education and mentoring.

Starting as both a weekly coach and subject specific coaching in maths, science, and engineering at Meridian One, I quickly advanced to become the company's most capable mathematics tutor. I delivered individualised tutoring, simplifying complex topics to boost students' confidence and performance. I also communicated with parents through termly update emails about their child’s progress. Weekly one-on-one and team meetings with leaders ensured we maintained high teaching standards. This role solidified my passion for education and commitment to student success in STEM.
