As Executive Project Manager for the Facilities Real Estate Division within the Office of Strategic Infrastructure provides executive level support and guidance to Center Project Mangers for selected Discrete level construction projects that are either technically complex or of high mission criticality to the agency. The primary roles of this position are to assist NASA centers in the successful implementation of projects at all key project stages including project planning, design and execution and representing HQ in partnering and conflict resolution with outside government agencies (OGAs) as necessary to minimize delays and the potential for claims . Additionally, will provide guidance, assistance, support and input in requirements development, design, and execution (construction & demolition). Ultimately assures the alignment of NASA Projects’ schedule and budget with Construction of Facilities (CoF) strategic plan requirements and guidance.

The Projects and Engineering Branch (PEB) is responsible for the design and execution of Construction of Facilities projects as well as research program funded projects including upgrades, modifications, and new construction of LaRC facilities and infrastructure. The main focus of the Projects & Engineering Branch is to ensure customers receive excellent service and that the end product, whether it’s a study, full design, or construction effort will meet the needs of our Customer.

Responsible for analyzing all aspects of strategic planning and implementation to optimize Langley Research Center's Revitalization Plan to include the Strategic Maintenance Plan, the Center Master Plan, and the Construction of Facilities Program.

Engineering Project Manager for the Plans & Engineering Branch of the Center Operations Directorate. I Manage and oversee design and construction of new projects and renovations to ensure NASA requirements are met within budget and schedule.

Chief, Technical Services Branch of Engineering Division, and technical advisor to the Engr. Division Chief on all aspects of installation facilities engineering design, project management, solicitation, contracting, inspection, acceptance and warranty administration. Responsible for independent technical review of all designs, drawings, procurement packages, estimates, specifications, and engineering feasibility assessments for projects at Fort Stewart, GA. Provided technical guidance as to intent of engineering plan and specifications, and evaluation of bids and contractor proposals, to determine reasonableness thereof. Directed and supervised project manager site inspections, contract-change estimating, design and cost agreement negotiations, monitored the work through completion. Supervised the review of all projects to be constructed within the confines of Fort Stewart, to include OMA, MCA, non-appropriated fund (NAF) and from private funding.
