Worked with Bowmer and Kirkland on the National Innovation Centre for Ageingand Data project. I worked within the Quantity Surveying and Site Managementteams as well as alongside the Site Engineer. I gained experience in thecommercial side of the project by being part of regular site progress meetings, aswell as being involved in the procurement process which involved carrying outquantity takeoffs which were used to price specific packages of work. I have alsogained valuable on-site experience by shadowing site managers which allowed meto gain technical knowledge. I have learned to use a total station during my timewith the Site Engineer.

Experienced 4 months with the BIM team at NBS. I regularly created content that was uploaded to the National BIM Library. This included creating objects using geometry as well as layered content which was a data input exercise.

Experienced four months of working as a junior building control inspector with North Tyneside Council. During my time here, I was inspecting a variety of buildings both domestic and commercial and that varied in size.

Experienced 4 months of architecture as a Design Assistant at Ryder, both at the concept and technical stage of a project. My duties included assisting architects and senior architects on a number of projects with a various number of drawings and different packages of drawings for the design and production team, including a 34 story apartment complex in Manchester.

Experienced four months working as a trainee civil engineer at Cundall. My duties included assisting senior engineers with creating and developing drawings for the project and also models on a variety of projects including commercial, residential and domestic projects.
