Since April 2016, I've been leading beer tastings and curated tours of the Brooklyn Brewery. I have the opportunity to promote product and brand appreciation through personally crafted presentations that outline production and company history. As Utility Manager, I assist in the brewery tasting room, company store, and warehouse to ensure optimal customer/employee satisfaction; duties range from stocking merchandise, bartending, assisting customers (3000+ per weekend), addressing and resolving customer concerns, and satisfying inquiries.

Aside from leading weekly tastings and educational tours at the Brooklyn Brewery, I kept a full-time position at Uber’s Manhattan flagship office as a Brand Ambassador from February 2016 through May 2017. Our team was tasked with following internet based leads to gauge potential drivers’ interest in our brand and guide them through NYC’s complicated and time consuming livery licensure process. Clear, efficient communication with potential leads was critical to encouraging new drivers to fulfill licensure requirements and maintain faith in the Uber brand. As our team’s leader, I was tasked with compiling data to better understand drivers’ aversions to the licensing process or from using Uber’s software so that we could more efficiently counter their objections and increase our daily success rate. Those efforts proved fruitful, and what was originally intended as a temporary, experimental assignment quickly became a full-time component of Uber’s recruiting efforts in NYC.
