The cases and transactions on which I advise are rarely confined to a single area of Jersey law, and often give rise to a number of issues.My experience in employment, data protection, regulatory (i.e. work and housing rules), general commercial, and property matters means that I can provide a complete service to the private clients and Jersey-based businesses that I advise. Having a single point of contact for solutions to such problems is of real benefit to those that instruct me.I am Counsel in the Local Legal Services team, specialising in employment and regulatory law. I was sworn in as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey in December 2014. My client base includes businesses operating within Jersey's finance industry, entrepreneurs, senior executives, and the family offices of ultra-high net worth individuals.I advise on a range of non-contentious and contentious matters across a broad spectrum of issues - from business start-ups (including the regulatory framework surrounding business relocations and staff and business licensing), to restructures, performance and conduct matters, and discrimination. I also advise on a variety of contractual arrangements within the employment sphere, to include: employment, secondment, staff-leasing, consultancy, and directorship documentation. I am Secretary of the Employment Lawyers Association (Jersey Branch).
