• Worked independently on a number of projects including researching (both quantitative and qualitative) and writing blog posts, analyzing organic agricultural sector data, and consulting for the 'Carbon Sequestration' task force. • Other roles included data collection on community supported agriculture, conducting interviews with business owners, farmers, and executives within the Canadian organic sector. • Additional tasks were completed for OCO's membership and events branch. • Completed a wide variety of tasks including the editing and drafting of reports, presentations and databases, interacting with residents of the City of Toronto and responding to their concerns, and the retrieval and collection of data regarding urban forest health both out in the field and from external and internal sources.• A major project included the mapping of areas of potential environmental degradation in Toronto using ArcGIS. Ravine encroachments were identified and quantified before being added to a larger database that I was responsible for creating. Toronto features thousands of hectares of parkland that contribute millions of dollars in ecosystem benefits to the city.
