I took my knowledge of the restaurant industry to create my own business and product from scratch. I created, planned, implemented, and executed every duty possible that would be necessary in the creation of a new business. This includes, establishing a social media presence that exceeded 6k followers within a year in a market of 20k residents, business accounts and emails, all legal correspondence with the city, county, and state officials involving the creation and execution of all permits and legal documents including the liquor licensing with local legal counsel, bank accounts, contractors, recipes, and all labor involved into preparing the business for opening. This also includes a full structural build for the hood system, tap system, and walk-in cooler. I created all my recipes from scratch, hired & trained all 30 employees, made sure all licensing remained current, managed the day-to-day operations & stayed within budget, and I remained fully operational through the state mandates implemented by the State of Michigan due to Covid-19. As a new business through my direction, we averaged around $15,000 in sales weekly.
