Exeter CITY Community Trust is Exeter’s leading health and wellbeing charity. As a charity we deliver programmes in physical activity, education, social inclusion, and health and wellbeing to tens of thousands of people throughout Exeter and Devon. The Trust delivers a large and varied portfolio of exciting and impactful programmes, each of which seeks to remove any barriers to participation, and to address the specific needs of our community.Building on my previous role as Charity Development Officer, I will work with the new Charity Development team, alongside the Trust's Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team to create new opportunities for our community - promote our aims, activities, and achievements - and boost participation levels across all of our programmes. In this role, I worked with the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team to identify, create, promote, and lead on new opportunities for the charity, whilst also engaging with the community to develop positive and productive working relationships with a range of partners and networks.

Working with sporting and cultural heritage organisations, community groups, charities, and other organisations in the public and private sectors, to advise and deliver on strategies for activities and events, archiving, branding, conservation, communications, community engagement, copywriting, Covid-19 contingency, curation and co-curation, charitable incorporation, digitisation, forward planning, fundraising proposals, interview techniques, organisational analysis and evaluation, policy development, professional development, publicity and promotions, SEO and online marketing, working with volunteers and employee support, videography, website and app development. Clients and associates have included, 1010 Media, Armed Forces Community Support Hub (Devon), Football & War Network, Blissfields Festival, Cornish Museums Group, Discover Bovey Tracey, Exeter Civic Society, Exeter School, Harbertonford Heritage Society, Jackson Stops Estate Agents, Jason Roberts Foundation, Plymouth Argyle Heritage Archive, RAMM, The Great Save, Victim Support (Devon & Cornwall), West Midlands Police, Yeovil Town Football Club.

In doing one of the best jobs in football, I worked with contributors, club colleagues, and external partners to produce and promote the club's match day programme, The Grecian. The primary role was to develop and create original content for each edition, and to oversee the editorial process from conception to delivery.The aim of each edition was always to produce engaging content to a consistent high standard, whilst covering aspects of the club both past, present, and future. The work also involved collaboration with colleagues in the media team to create features for the club website, social media channels, and the club's fanzine programme, Park Life.

Delivery of three successive sporting and cultural heritage programmes, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and in partnership between the University of Exeter, Exeter City Football Club, and the Exeter City Supporters' Trust. * The History of St James Park (2016-2017)* The ECFC Museum (2017-2019)* Celebrating Our Heritage: An ECFC Museum Outreach Programme (2019-2021)Primary roles across all three programmes included budgetary and strategic management, public relations, and the direct implementation of all project deliverables, which focused on the collection, preservation, and sharing of historic research, narratives, and materials through a range of mixed-media formats and displays. Also designed and delivered an employability programme to develop a dedicated team of volunteers and student interns to assist in the delivery of all project outcomes, including archival research, audience development, blog posts, collections management, conservation, curation, digitisation, engagement events, evaluation exercises, film production, narrative development, oral histories, policy development, public relations, social media, website content, and working towards museum accreditation. During this period, the work saw a collection of randomly assorted materials developed into a stadium-wide approach to curation and engagement at St James Park and the formation of the ECFC Museum Trust: Charity no.1180927
