In a part time capacity, I provide consultation services to Pure Syncore, a health and wellness supplement company. As a consultant, I investigate which supplements have an established or emerging research based efficacy with helping either individuals with autism or reducing the risk of autism if taken prenatally. I also provide guidance as to selecting and analyzing parent questionnaire data for detailed and autism specific data as to the impact of the product on characteristic behavioral features of autism.

- Act as the evaluation coordinator for triennial re-evaluation cases to determine the current need for special education services. - Act as the evaluation coordinator for initial evaluation cases to determine if special education services are required. - Conduct cognitive assessments and use various forms of psychosocial ratings forms to ascertain students function in the home and school setting. - Consult with teachers on varying levels of problem behaviors and conducted functional behavior analysis if needed. - Present the findings of the evaluation to the parents or legal guardians of each child, either in person or by phone conference. - Provide direct counseling services to special education students.- Work frequently with the teachers and district support staff on improving implementation of procedures and practices in a Special education Behavior Intervention classroom. - Work directly with students on academic and behavioral concerns. Use the problem solving model (problem identification, problem analysis, evaluation) to address each area of concern in a systematic way.
