At a high level, I'm responsible for analysing opportunities for strategic digital projects to enhance employee knowledge and performance. This includes research, conceptualisation, wireframing, business white papers and presentation to senior leaders.On a day to day basis, I provide creative direction and guidance on the user experience of our content driven projects. These range from webapps, interactive experiential learning to videos and animation.I lead a small team of internal digital designers and often direct and co-ordinate external providers to see these projects from conception to finalisation.

The V&A is the world’s greatest museum of decorative art and design. In this role I worked with the museum’s web team in finalising the organisation’s new website. My role within the team was evaluating existing content within the museum’s collection and determining how to make the best use of it within the updated site structure.This required a thorough working knowledge of the content management system Squiz MySource Matrix, Adobe Photoshop, CSS and formatting XHTML code. Additionally I gave input into the resolution of technical and editorial issues relating to the new website design.

The main focus of my work in this role was e-learning. I embarked on each project with the writer and subject matter expert, conceptualising what form the learning would take. I would then wireframe and storyboard full interactives and oversee production of these. It was my responsibility to manage the technical, design and editorial teams to take the projects from concept to reality. This included budgeting, scoping, managing timelines, writing proposals and negotiating with external suppliers amongst many other tasks.Other significant work included leading the broadcast and video team, which involved overseeing the technical aspects of the firm’s documentary production business. This often involved troubleshooting for other members of staff in a deadline driven environment.
