The conception, planning and moderation of "Development, Not Displacement," anti-gentrification panel+round table event on April 7, 2023 featuring recruited speakers Maurice Cox (Commissioner of the DPD Chicago), Jason Pugh (2021-2022 NOMA National President + Gensler Global Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Design Manager, Principal), Juan Moreno: President/Founder of JGMA, and Monica Chadha (Founder and Principal of Civic Projects). And day-to-day management and coordination with the College of Architecture at IIT, including the advocacy for a permanent faculty advisor and more diverse hiring.NOMASiit is needed now more than ever at the school. Its relative absence during COVID was tremendously felt.
