I am a Senior Finance major at Auburn University. And I'm excited to explore the many paths within the Finance area, to determine what suits my future best. My passion for Finance started in my senior year of high school when I took a mandatory Personal Finance class. It changed the way I thought about money, and I realized how important it was to understand the nuances of money and how it moves. I have been lucky to have always been involved with organizations that have strong people-centric cultures. It is important for me to be surrounded by people who share my strong work ethic, and who support each other. My experience as a coach and counselor has prepared me for any type of situation. I have learned how to adapt, and pivot quickly to handle whatever comes my way. I am passionate about being part of a team and collaborating together for a shared outcome. I have been successful with taking leadership roles within these teams and can follow, as appropriate, too. I am empathetic. I like to understand what makes someone who they are. Or what makes a company who they are. It's important to know this, as I can't effectively work with someone if I don't know how they like to work, or how best to communicate with them to get the best outcomes. Communication is something I consider one of my strengths. My goals are to work within the Finance arena, with a respected company, with an inclusive culture, and enjoy what I'm doing every day.On a personal note, I love all sports, music, working out, and hanging out with my friends.I am always looking to learn new skills and am open to new opportunities.
