My name is William Benoit and I am a graduate of the Television-Radio, Audio Concentration program in the Park School of Communications at Ithaca College. My degree coursework introduced me to the formal application of audio across several forms of media including film, television, radio, and studio work. In addition to my communications studies, my time at Ithaca College allowed me the opportunity to explore an array of subjects ranging from immigration studies to marketing to physics, and much more. During college and since graduating, I have been a member of several musical groups. With these bands, I have had the opportunity to record, produce, and perform in variety of settings. I have been a contributing artist and producer on three albums and have been a part of multiple touring groups. To supplement my musical endeavors, I worked throughout college as a line cook. I had no prior restaurant cooking experience but I learned quickly. After moving home from college, I took a local line cook job and worked my way up to the position of kitchen manager. As kitchen manager I help manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, write the schedule, assist with inventory, and oversee catering or other special kitchen projects.
