First and foremost, I am a problem solver. I love a good challenge or puzzle. I’m never satisfied until I have found a thorough resolution to a situation that makes as many people happy as efficiently as possible. I am a fast learner and have had to actively learn many systems I've never had experience with on the fly, in order to troubleshoot properly. I am very detail oriented and try to ask as many questions as I can to fully understand a new deployment in order to minimize future problems and downtime. I love to work with data and spreadsheets.I pride myself on my communication and people skills as I have worked both in a technical support role as well as many retail jobs all the way up to managing multiple locations. I also have my own personal business, making leather costumes and accessories, where I routinely interact with customers in an upbeat friendly manner.I have experience with multiple technology management systems including Active Directory, Jamf, Mosyle, Meraki, Cisco, Mitel and Juniper Mist, including troubleshooting problems on my own as well as working with teams to address more complicated issues. I also have experience with multiple forms of computer programming including C++, Applescript, Linux and Arduino. I am eager and willing to learn new systems as well.I have a passion for the intersection of technology and entertainment, particularly when it comes to theme parks and animatronics. I believe my background in theater and technology gives me a unique perspective on combining artistry with engineering. I have experience with lighting and sound systems as well as various fabrication methods such as carpentry, metalworking and 3d printing. I am currently teaching an animatronics after school program at one of my elementary schools.
