Working on various Waste Water Treatment Works as part of the AMP 5 Southern Water delivery programme, comprising of deep drainage, below ground storm storage tanks, overflow chambers, segmented shafts, pumping stations, rising mains, access roads and storage compounds. My role as a Site Agent involved solving design issues, QA controls, supervising sub-contractors, and material procurement.

Working for Bam Nuttall on the £130m Structures, Bridges & Highways element of the London 2012 Olympic Park. My role as Assistant Engineering Manager was to assist in the running and function of the site engineering team. This entailed undertaking various works relating to temporary and permanent works designs, mainly in bridges and other civils structures. The role included the coordination with the engineering team, procurement/commercial team and client representatives.

Working on a £3m Flood Alleviation Scheme in East London consisting of 3 no caisson shafts and 300 meters of micro tunnelling 18 meters below ground level. My role as a Senior Engineer on this project involved procurement of materials, taking off from drawings, supervision of other engineers and sub-contractors.

Working on the £50M Ramsgate High Speed Train maintenance facility as a Senior Site Engineer. Here I carried out a wide range of duties from setting out, QA controls, operation & maintenance manuals, supervising sub-contractors, looking after all concrete works, site safety, monitoring of the Junior Engineers, taking off drawings and measuring progress against program. The project is to construct a 250m long steel and concrete frame structure.

Working for Laing O Rourke on the £44M Ashford shopping centre as a Senior Site Engineer I was responsible for overseeing the engineering team and liaising with the project engineer, overseeing all QA control, ordering concrete, on site concrete checks, advanced setting out, monitoring site control, records and taking off drawings. The structure is a 5 storey concrete frame on a continuous piled wall.

Working for Laing O Rourke on the £80M Stratford section of the CTRL (HIGH speed rail link project) as a Site Engineer responsible for all setting out associated with the new build track and structures. Here I also supervised the construction of the £8m Euro star maintenance shed at Temple Mills. My duties here ranged from setting out, track survey, concrete technician works and QA control.

Working for Laing O Rourke on the £65M Heathrow Terminal 5 project as a Site Engineer I was responsible for all setting out associated with the new build. Here I worked on the main terminal, all associated structures and the transit baggage systems. My role also involved overseeing QA control, ordering concrete, on site concrete checks, advanced setting out, monitoring site control, records and taking off drawings.

Working for Laing O Rourke on the £110M BAA Gatwick framework project as a Site Engineer I was responsible for all setting out associated with the new build. Here I carried all site engineering duties during the construction of Pier 6 terminal extension, a new 200m long sky bridge, the upgraded baggage handling systems and new taxiways.
