Preservation of war fighting capabilities through the reduction of wildlife hazards to airfield, training, and low-level flight operations. Air Force’s subject matter expert for worldwide on-site technical assistance to resolve wildlife hazard issues. Develops programs/policies to reduce wildlife strike potential during flight operations. Manages largest bird/wildlife strike database of its kind in the Department of Defense. An inter-agency liaison and functional ambassador for multiple federal organizations and executive committees; collaborates and creates, policies, initiatives and memorandums of agreement for contingency operations. Extensive experience with inter-operations between the Air Force, Federal Aviation Administration, United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Virginia Fish and Game, and the United States Department of Agriculture. Active member of the Bird Strike Committee USA. Numerous operations plans National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), wetland delineation, and Endangered Species Act (ESA) compliance.
