Structural Analyst - Tooling
Tooling structural analyst responsible for the strength certification of various aerospace manufacturing assets. These assets include transportation carts and platforms, overhead lifting structure (both mechanical and vacuum lift), personnel platforms, fixed / bolted structure, and an assortment of custom tool designs.Analysis of the tooling structures required an understanding of load path and mechanics of material behavior. All assets analyzed were done to industry standards such as ASME-BTH, ADM, AISC, etc. Analysis was completed using both finite element programs and self developed templates and spreadsheets.
Structural Analyst - Aerospace Structures
Structural / Stress Analyst for various aerospace structures ranging from aircraft, space capsules, launch vehicles, and missiles. Roles required an understanding of load paths and mechanics of material behavior.Unique skill sets included an understanding of vibratory modes of a structure and how those modes impact the fatigue and durability lifespan of a part / assembly. Vibration and fatigue environments analyzed included cyclical, random, shock, and sonic.Types of stress analysis performed involved static and dynamic loading, fracture toughness, fatigue and durability, and pressure / explosive containment.Finite element pre and post processing programs were used to analyze structure. Those programs utilized included PATRAN / NASTRAN, Femap, and Abaqus. Self developed templates and programs were created for the analysis of components that did not require the computational power of finite element programs.

Oversees the development, testing, data gathering and organization of derived physics based mathematical relationships to predict flight characteristics of thrown/hit baseballs/softballs for sports analytics technology utilitizing computer vision based software.Contributes to the development of business and marketing strategies by organizing and presenting metrics to company leadership based on user feedback and website traffic. These metrics are used as baselines for development of future software and quality improvements of current software.
