Spanish Interpretation for Colombian immigrant for weekly Job Classes (2 hours per week). Topics included how to open a bank account, how to apply for and keep a job in the United States, how to understand a paycheck, cultural differences between immigrants' native cultures and the U.S., etc.

Research, Teaching, and Service as BSU Professor involved all levels of dynamic undergraduate courses in language, literature, and culture, as well as some graduate courses in language teaching methods. Translated 3 novels by Québécois author Réjean Ducharme from French to English. Participated in multiple departmental, college and university committees through the 15 years.
