Since 2018, I have focused my career development on supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a former high school social studies teacher at a boarding school for at-risk teens, I found a passion in helping people and individualizing supports. Connecting with people creatively, particularly through the arts and media, was an area of strength for me that led me into professional audio work.My game development experience started in St. Petersburg, Russia with Strategic Music working as their Voice-Over Director and American language and cultural expert. I came back to the United States to create Voice to Game - a high quality supplier of voice-overs for video games. I continue to do this work under my own name and have over 75 published games in my portfolio.Scriptwriting, casting, directing, recording, audio engineering (editing, manipulating and mastering audio), designing sound effects, music composition and dynamic audio experiences (FMOD primarily) are areas where I have contributed to games found on PC, Android, iOS, and XBox and PlayStation platforms. Some of the biggest hits I’ve worked in include the Kick the Buddy/Buddyman franchise, War Thunder, Star Conflict, Prominence Poker, as well as many games spanning many genres. Accessibility, diversity and representation in games is important to me, and the games I work on are typically reviewed to do well in these areas as well as having quality acting.Currently, I am the Lane, Linn and Benton County coordinator for Empowered Services. I help Direct Service Professionals who help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I continue to be available for game audio work, but typically work more as a consultant or on particularly challenging projects where social/political considerations are important for representation and accessibility.
