Overseeing the day-to-day operations of ACTRIS MLS, the multiple listing service wholly-owned by the Austin Board of REALTORS. The MLS team consists of two strategic wings: Solutions and Data Licensing+Compliance, with eight total employees (myself included) serving among those two teams. Our shared priorities include managing the products and tools ACTRIS subscribers rely on for their businesses, developing educational resources to drive self-serving solutions, working with vendors and other ABoR teams to problem solve both reactively and proactively, and ensuring data quality input into the MLS is reliable, accurate, and timely. My specific role includes managing the department to complete goals and milestones, collaborating and communicating with vendors and our ABoR team, prioritizing outstanding customer services, and exploring exciting opportunities to push data standards and user satisfaction to exemplary levels. In this role as MLS Supervisor, I supervise six employees in the MLS Department for ACTRIS MLS, managing front and back-end operations of the MLS and related products. On the back-end, I oversee content licensing for all Participants, Subscribers, and vendors working with ACTRIS MLS data. My goal is to build and maintain relationships with brokers, agents, and vendors to implement internal strategies and reach ABoR’s short and long-term goals.Part of the day-to-day duties include working with our primary MLS vendor to incorporate user feedback into system updates and solve issues; facilitating regular cross-functional meetings across the MLS and Association; and anticipating future needs and opportunities through conversations with industry and local leaders resulting in ACTRIS spearheading innovation in the industry.I’m thrilled to lead our growing MLS team and see how ABoR and ACTRIS can continue to be leaders in the real estate industry.

Supervisor for the MLS Strategic Operations Department. Our four-person team focuses on the marketing, communications, and front-end user experience of the MLS and its related products. We are heavily focused on collecting user feedback, proactively (and re-actively) solving system issues, and engaging our users.Some of my favorite tasks include: scripting MLS educational videos, educating staff and users on system updates, organizing and leading focus groups, researching industry trends, and ensuring all of our users have the opportunity to let us know what they think.I'm always looking for what little victory we can accomplish or takeaway from any situation, and focusing on what matters most: people.

In this role, I've learned about organizing and executing MLS-related projects and product launches for our 11,000+ Central Texas REALTORS®. This includes day-to-day communications for important updates or issues, as well as long-term improvements and updates to the system and its various products.Regular duties include curating and creating MLS content for bi-weekly emails to all ABoR MLS subscribers; support emails and phone calls, creating and writing webpages, FAQs, and other member resources; updating ABoR staff with information to assist members; maintaining our public-facing MLS site, AustinHomeSearch.com; writing for and editing our bi-monthly Austin REALTOR® magazine; organizing the agenda for a weekly cross-functional team (CFT); some social media; and writing fun (yet informative) emails.
