Currently I am working on a NASA funded satellite project that is in development at Montana State University in partnership with Johns Hopkins University and Boston College. The project is the Relativistic Electron Atmospheric Loss Cubesat (REAL), see link below. My area of focus is working to develop the software required for the data down-link to earth.

Working as a teaching assistant for the Department of Mathematical Sciences involved interacting with a diverse range of students with a broad level of mathematical understanding. Explaining often complex concepts in understandable terms was routine and of the utmost importance. Responsibilities and skills include:- Strong verbal communication skills of often complex mathematical concepts. - Ability to approach an issue from different angles to aid in student understanding.- Successful management of class and work schedules.

Over the time I worked at Ressler Motors I worked my way up from oil change technician to sales associate and service advisor. Responsibilities and skills include:- Constant customer interaction in person as well as over the phone and email. - Communication of often complex mechanical repair details in understandable, relatable terms.- Collaboration with a diverse range of co-workers at all levels of the company.- Independent management of a complex and dynamic customer schedule. - Consistent high level performance in a fast paced environment.

During my time in the military I held two main positions, first as a Patriot Missile System operator and secondly as a Military Police office during my deployment. There are many skills I learned in the military that I am able to routinely apply to everyday situations to achieve the most desirable outcome. Responsibilities and skills include:- Regular leadership of a diverse group of individuals. - Team member motivation in often challenging circumstances. - Recipient of numerous awards to include the Army Commendation Medal.- Trained personnel on complex hardware systems. - Rapid promotion.
