As a Graduate Assistant for the Graduate Programs Office, I assist the Graduate Programs Department with any clerical needs including printing documents, referring patrons to the correct office, and updating online information to facilitate smooth and consistent operation of the Graduate Programs office. As a continuous improvement intern at Columbia Forest Products I remained aware of machinery at all times to determine current and potential issues. I then followed the 5 Why procedure to ascertain the root cause and determine the correct solution. In conjunction with maintenance I then orchestrated plans for implementation of the new solution.
