Interviewed for, hired and managed a mobile team of 11 engineers and successfully created an environment of technical excellence, personal responsibility and ego-free collaboration.Spearheaded the creation of a GraphQL Gateway as a thin data layer between clients and Golang microservice backends communicating via gRPC, creating a single client entrypoint to all of our backends.Created a Flutter widget library (we called it Homma) serving as a reusable UI layer to speed up development and share common widgets like a camera view, buttons, text, complex number display and precision formatting, across features. Built a custom theming layer that allowed for completely custom user defined themes.Created a Gitlab CI / Ops flow for automatic delivery of the mobile app to Apple/Google App Stores. Single handedly built our mobile app in Flutter, which grew to 80k MAU and with a 4.8 average rating.
