• Re-established the society after a period of inactivity due to COVID-19
• Rebuilt the committee to a team of 7
• Put on dozens of successful events, notably Open Mic Nights, Band Mixers, Committee and Group Socials
• Liaised with venues, bands and organisations outside of the university to facilitate the performance and enjoyment of live music in the university and beyond

• Outlined termly and yearly plans for the society
• Increased opportunities in both writing and performing for members of the society, including starting a podcast, organising more sketch, narrative and standup shows, and expanding Footnews
• Produced and led writing on Footnotes Shows

• Hosted weekly writer’s meetings for those keen to write within the university
• Written and put on shows for the society, including the sketch show ‘Six Footnotes Under’ which I co-wrote and directed, as well as organising the team of sixteen cast and crew.
• Raised money for Birmingham Nightline through profits from our shows
• Founded university satire newspaper ‘The Birmingham Footnews’, for which I write and create social media posts, as well as contribute articles, and which has achieved publication and a permanent feature in the.

I hosted a show on the university radio station for an hour specialised slot, in which I focused on concept albums and the themes in them. The show requires a great amount of research, time-management and focus.

Summer job working creating mouthguards for local, national and international teams. Job required skills such as adapting to and working heavy machinery, teamwork, and facing fast paced changes to your job as well as crucial decision making.
