Will Chin serves as Strategy Analyst to drive PSE's Grid Modernization efforts in alignment with the Clean Energy Transformation Act work across different departments.Grid Modernization takes a holistic approach to updating and improving our infrastructure to create an electric grid that’s reliable, resilient, smart, and flexible. It needs to be safe and designed to meet customers’ unique energy needs and expectations. The process for creating a modernized grid means investing in new equipment, installing new software and communication platforms, testing and deploying new technology, and empowering customers with tools to make their own energy choices. Active in the outdoor community, Will serves on committees including Mountains to Sound Greenway and Cascade Bicycle Club. He became involved with Outdoors for All disability programs directly from a volunteer campaign at PSE. He has been coaching youth sports for YMCA and Little League.

Will Chin is PSE’s Energy Efficiency Outreach Manager for King County where he helps communities use energy more efficiently through PSE programs and tools.Will started with PSE in 1985 working in areas of Energy Management, Electrical Distribution, Customer Service Engineering, and Power Quality. He moved on to perform community outreach at REI serving in Marketing and Public Affairs for their Northwest stores. He is happy to be back in the energy efficiency field where he can make an impact on peoples’ lives and our world’s future. He engages first hand with local agencies, municipalities, businesses, organizations, and residential customers to educate and connect them with information and resources.Active in the outdoor community, Will serves on committees including Mountains to Sound Greenway and Cascade Bicycle Club.
