I have worked with Sumlin Group for the last four years and have been engaged in many roles since the beginning of my tenure. After joining, I worked solely with one of Sumlin's portfolio companies, Alessandra Yarns. I was in charge of all International Sales and Manufacturing. I oversaw our full-time employee in China to ensure all customer orders and Alessandra's orders were on schedule. At the same time, I oversaw all imports from China to our domestic customers. In the Summer of 2017, Sumlin Group opened a new business, Sumlin Solutions that imported yarn from China and purchased domestically. This yarn was converted into fabric and I was responsible for overseeing all production and shipments. Along with my responsibilities with Alessandra Yarns and Sumlin Solutions, I help Sumlin Group with advisory engagements with our clients. This includes capital market solutions, mergers and acquisitions, operational improvement initiatives, and working capital and cash flow management initiatives.

Front of the house ManagerLiberty Tap Room & Grill'I was in charge of the hostess stand and reservations along with helping manage the daily operations of the restaurant. With that came opening and closing, inventory management, and customer service. It was a great opportunity out of college to take my studies, I majored in Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism Management at the University of South Carolina, into the real world. I moved on because of the long, odd hours that took me away from my young family.
