Founded in 2001, DCOR has established itself as a leader in offshore energy and production on the West Coast. Member of DCOR’s Executive Management Team. Manage DCOR’s insurance policies, contracts, land, business development, and other associated commercial matters. Serve as DCOR’s point of contact with regulatory agencies, including BSEE, BOEM, California State Lands Commission, and relevant taxing entities. Manage DCOR’s pending litigation (excluding labor), draft and review legal documents, and assist the General Counsel with DCOR’s Master Service Agreement program.

Manage a team of 9 Commercial & Land Advisors and Land Analysts who support ExxonMobil's Upstream Company's U.S. Conventional assets, including operated and non-operated assets in the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico, Santa Ynez Unit (Pacific), Alaska, South Louisiana, and LaBarge, as well as legacy and decommissioning projects.

Project Lead for significant upstream projects, including divestments totaling $147MM and decommissioning “boomerang” assets totaling $175MM. Provide Commercial & Land support for numerous Deepwater GoM assets, including Operated and OBO, and the Santa Ynez Unit in offshore California. Excluding divestments, total value of deal delivery is $304.8MM.Project Lead responsibilities include decommissioning various “boomerang” assets (via Decommissioning Agreements) and divestments by supporting Business Development and leading divestments under $100MM. Divestment responsibilities include managing 4-6 staff to conduct lease and contract review, secure confidentiality waivers, negotiate CAs and PSAs, populate VDRs, prepare exhibits/schedules, steward consents, preferential rights to purchase, sale notices, and prepare closing documents. Decommissioning responsibilities include leading an interdisciplinary team, interfacing with government regulators (e.g. BSEE) and external stakeholders, pursuing financial security from bonding agencies and predecessors-in-title, and development of a transformative agreement which serves to commercialize ExxonMobil’s decommissioning obligations to achieve cost savings. Major projects include Platform Holly (Pacific) and the Main Pass 133 Field (GoM), totaling 35 wells and 4 platforms. Secured 100% of reimbursement claims ($80.4MM) from predecessors (and without a lawsuit or bankruptcy).

Responsibilities included handling matters affecting numerous producing Operated and OBO assets in the GoM and California, including through contract review and interpretation, identifying and resolving audit exceptions, providing advice and guidance to asset managers regarding decisions to conduct or support (or non-consent) various operations based on ExxonMobil positions/options, and developing commercial agreements to address various matters, including increasingly complex matters with competing benefits, downsides, and risks.

Supported the interdisciplinary Corporate Development team responsible for all significant A&D activity in the United States, including all midstream and upstream A&D work involving PDP.

Supported Anadarko's Onshore Growth (New Ventures) business unit by focusing on Business Development opportunities in the Lower 48, including enhancing Anadarko’s existing Permian position through cross-basin trades.

Team Lead for a team of landmen and land analysts responsible for all aspects of land work for 120,000+ acres in Dimmit and La Salle Counties focusing on the Eagle Ford Shale.

Supported Eagle Ford Shale operations in South Texas.

Team Lead supporting Haynesville Shale operations; focal point for all matters in Red River Parish, Louisiana, one of the most active areas in Shell’s Upstream Americas production portfolio.
