Decommissioning responsibilities include leading an interdisciplinary team, interfacing with government regulators (e.g. BSEE) and external stakeholders, pursuing financial security from bonding agencies and predecessors-in-title, and development of a transformative agreement which serves to commercialize ExxonMobil’s decommissioning obligations to achieve cost savings. Major projects include Platform Holly (Pacific) and the Main Pass 133 Field (GoM), totaling 35 wells and 4 platforms. Secured 100% of reimbursement claims ($80.4MM) from predecessors (and without a lawsuit or bankruptcy).
