Hi, I'm Will. I'm a hardworking and creative problem-solver with a passion for data science and quantitative analysis. I recently earned a Masters degree in Artificial Intelligence, graduating with distinction from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. And in May 2023, my team and I won 2nd place out of 50 teams in Merck's Datathon, with our in-depth analysis of "Investigating Drop-Out Rates in Substance Abuse Treatments". Some highlights of our work: utilizing the Peter-Clark algorithm to create a causal model, building a classifier to examine whether patients were likely to drop out of treatment, and mapping a survival analysis curve of dropouts over time. Additionally skilled in reinforcement learning including policy gradient and deep neural networks.
