About Will Diamond
I'm an AI Engineer and Founder primarily focused in the legal AI Engineering space. I enjoy developing full-stack applications leveraging large language models (LLMs) to enhance accessibility to legal information. I founded Recodify.ai with the mission of democratizing legal knowledge for all using AI. I started doing AI Engineering with my passion project, Ask Abe, a legal chatbot designed to accurately cite primary source legislation and provide legal education for those who most need it. The process of creating Abe quickly transitioned into my creation of an extensive processed knowledge base and legal toolset for accessing scraped primary source legal information with LLMs. My current work spans from automated scraping of primary source legislative data, processing it through LLM prompt pipelines to extract metadata, storing and building tools for accessing this repository of legal knowledge, and finally constructing robust retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and designing intuitive generative AI interfaces.Currently, I am involved in multiple AI Engineering projects. I am consulting as an AI Engineer with Contoural Inc. leading their Recordkeeping Requirement Extraction Project. I primarily focus on my own business and improving the underlying data and technology which I use at Recodify.ai. I hold an undergraduate degree in Data Science from Michigan State University, where I was part of the pioneering graduating class. I am actively seeking full-time opportunities where I can contribute to meaningful projects that require innovative AI Engineering. Put simply, I want to work at a company that is building cool stuff with LLMs.
