I have 10 years of experience as an undergraduate and graduate student researcher on the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. During this time, I have contributed to a number of Standard Model electroweak physics measurements including measurements of Wγγ, WZ, and same-sign WW processes (the focus of my PhD thesis). I also worked to maintain the performance of the ATLAS detector through alignment of the sensors of the Inner Detector systems. Research involves using the ATLAS data analysis framework as well as personal software to read through billions of collision events to identify candidate events for rare physics processes (in the case of physics analysis), or to build distributions to monitor detector performance.
