Experience venue General Manager having been involved in the late night industry for over nearly 20 years. Over these years i've been involved in the all aspects of the industry and a range of units from small pubs up to 3500 capacity nightclubs and gig venues. I have been involved in the opening and development of new venues and along with this the building of trade year on year in live music, late night and corporate sectors. I'm a strong leader and have experience of recruiting and building teams from scratch and enabling junior managers to grow and take control of there own departments and going on to having there own venues both within the organisation and at other operators.I take on the problem venues turning around numerous units with a full review of the business to rebuild a viable operation where people have failed allowing them to continue operating successfully. Fully involved in the management of budgets and the process of forecasting trade over 12 month periods using experience and historical data to predict turnover and profit. Day to day control of the venue including security, HR, finance, Health and safety, fire risk assessment and diary management.I currently take on freelance roles conducting business reviews and offering support and experience / contacts to help your venue hit its maximum potential!

Full responsibility of the operation and development of business, working with a team of 9 full time staff - 2 Deputy managers, 2 Assistant managers, Vip Sales, Sales and events, production manager, maintenance and Head Host plus over 80+ part time staff along with external contractors. Growth came from a focus on standards to drive SPH and GP% along with a change in promotion strategy layered with a review of door pricing and offers to realign the income streams.Extra revenue streams were enhanced with a focus on prebooked and private hires with both departments increasing there returns along with positive feedback from guests to allow us to grow loyalty and returning clients.
