Running safe and fun sessions in multiple disciplines including dinghy sailing, windsurfing, stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking.

I have experience working on the shop floor, on checkouts, in a café, and on night shift. At all times partners provide excellent customer service, on which Waitrose prides itself. My main duties are independent workload management whilst balancing stock replenishment, assisting customers and organising deliveries. I was also responsible for training new staff members in their duties, safety awareness and store layout along with improving their customer relations and work standards. I also have experience in café environment; contributing to team success as there are multiple roles within the café at which every partner is expected to be proficient, communicating and managing orders, stock rotation and replenishment and engaging with customers.

I was employed over the Royal International Air Tattoo and New Year’s celebrations dealing with a high number of customers over an extended period of time whilst maintaining energy levels and maintaining stable performance under pressure. It was also necessary to retain and recollect food and drinks prices as there was no internalised system on the till. Building customer loyalty was also important as a small village pub relies heavily on returning customers.

I was in charge of shifts with a team of up to eight people leading and working as part of a team; setting tasks according to partner’s strengths and ensuring they follow the rules. At all times we had to provide excellent customer service, on which Waitrose prides itself.

The main focus of my job was providing assistance and specialist advice according to customers' individual needs thus building customer loyalty. I would take the initiative to greet customers, establishing a connection with them, whilst determining how I could help them. To achieve high levels of customer satisfaction I had to assimilate and apply new job-related information in order to provide accurate and concise advice to the customers.
