I am responsible for providing stock recommendations to Boston and London based portfolio managers across European business services companies.On a more generalist basis, I additionally complete in depth research and provide recommendations across a wide range of sectors including diversified financials, payment processors, biotech and healthcare services.Alongside making my own recommendations to Putnam’s PMs, I am also a member of the wider London investment team working alongside 10-20+ year experienced analysts covering European banks, industrials and global healthcare companies.I am responsible for building detailed models for potential investments, meeting company management, following industry developments and company results and presenting detailed analysis to Putnam’s global investment team. I was in charge of the EMEA F&O and OTC onboarding team. I managed 12 people across three teams that were responsible for translating sales mandates into live accounts by coordinating and project managing across both internal and external teams.Of particular note, we oversaw OTC onboarding through new regulations (Dodd-Frank) that required a considerable uplift in work across NA, EMEA and ASPAC. As an Airborne Mission Commander flying the Apache on operations, I led the process of the initial planning through to the conduct of the mission. Often leading multi aircraft type formations of up to six aircraft and 20 aircrew on operational missions.Away from operations in the UK, as the senior Flight Commander I coordinated, planned and managed the daily flying programme for the 18 pilots of an operational Apache squadron.
