As a native New Yorker with a BA in English from Grinnell College, I have developed a diverse skill set and a passion for learning and growth through various roles in finance, music licensing, hospitality, coaching, and marketing.Most recently, I worked as a Financial Sales Consultant at Century Consulting Services, where I applied my marketing and relationship-building skills to generate leads, close deals, and increase revenue. I also supported the team with research, analysis, and presentation of financial products and services to clients.Previously, I was a Distribution Processor at SESAC, a music rights organization, where I gained expertise in music licensing and royalty distribution. I processed and verified data from multiple sources, ensured accuracy and compliance, and resolved issues and discrepancies. I also collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to provide excellent customer service and foster long-term relationships.In addition, I have over three years of experience as a Bar Staff at 82 Stanton and 310 Bowery Bar, two popular venues in New York City, where I demonstrated my hospitality and events skills. I delivered high-quality service, handled cash and inventory, and coordinated with management to ensure events were scheduled and ran smoothly. I also participated in planning and executing various events, such as private events, trivia, and comedy nights.Throughout my education and career, I have also been involved in coaching and mentoring activities, such as tutoring, volunteering, and leading workshops.
