Working on the communications team, which serves a core functionality in managing messaging within Doma's service offerings in the real estate space. Solutions are built in the cloud on Azure and help facilitate ML/automated processing of communications in both purchase and refinance, and daily responsibilities include programming in Typescript/PostgreSQL, handling on call responsibilities, and supporting Comms' apps within the cloud.

I currently work in a data management position developing and maintaining data processing technologies that incorporate Hadoop, Spark, and other SAS specific technologies. My programming work is predominately in C and Java.Previously, I worked on a language development team, working with the DS2 programming language. With that team, I went to the annual SAS Global Forum and presented my paper on the new regular expression packages I created. That paper is titled "Shredding Your Data with the New DS2 RegEx Packages."

I was a developer for the start up company Data Decision Models working as a software developer. I primarily worked with our text processing pipeline, responsible for automatically scanning industry news articles for market research. My work incorporated the open source text analytics framework, GATE, as well as Amazon Web Services to automatically perform parallel batch processing of web pages we had crawled.My work involved building the tools to automate our text analytics from the ground up, in addition to crafting "rules" for processing text to extract information such as phone numbers and addresses, as well as market specific information for our clients. The programming work was predominately in Java.This position required a flexible approach to development. We took on challenges and contracts quickly, which required me to dive into new technologies quickly while still keeping an eye on our product's direction and goals.
