The Solution Architect role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District Data Warehouse and Analytics Environment, as well as working with internal clients to build analytics applications and write complex data queries for research.In this role, I was responsible for integrating data from source systems (e.g. Cerner eMR, iPM Patient Administration System, Healthshare, etc) by writing Extract Transform Load processes to make this data available for analytics within the data warehouse. In addition, I worked closely with internal clients (doctors, nurses, managers, executives, corporate services) to create interactive dashboards to enable the effective use of data. I have extensive experience in QlikView, Qlik Sense, Microsoft SQL and Python. Highlights of my role at SESLHD included:- Building the SESLHD Diabetes Dashboard - a near real-time view of any patient in the hospital with unstable blood glucose levels, enabling proactive intervention by the diabetes teams.- Diabetes Baseline for Research/QI - creating an Admitted Patient Stay view of diabetes including patient demographics, flags for administration of medication by subtherapeutic class during stay, glucometrics and adverse glucose days measures, Charslon comorbidity index at admission and by comorbidity and Unplanned Readmissions. This work will be submitted for publication in a Medical Journal.- Opiod Stewardship reserach query - enabling close review of the use of opiods and evaluation of the opiod stewardship program by a University post grad student.- Mandatory Training dashboard - showing the mandatory training status of the district by professional group and grading.

The Solution Analyst is a technical leadership role, collaboratively overseeing analytics product development for South East Sydney Local Health District. This is based in the District's Business Intelligence unit.This department works with internal clients to produce analytics products (Qlikview/QlikSense dashboards and applications) from the various source systems within the Local Health District (such as eMR, IPM, HIE and others). PACE is the Deteriorating Patient Recognition and Rapid Response program for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. In this role I provided consultancy, education, support and administration of this program at The Sutherland Hospital.

Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) and Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) at Liverpool Hospital, the academic tertiary referral hospital and trauma centre in the South-West Sydney metropolitan area. I performed nursing roles in the Emergency Department including acute care, triage, resuscitation, paediatrics, clinician initiatives (advanced practice) and patient flow coordination.
