Conducted research project on critically endangered freshwater mussel species (Fusconaia mitchelli) to determine how anthropogenic activities affect its population.Used R and ArcGIS to collect and map F. mitchelli location data.Collected climate data and catchment data and analyzed them for changes over time from 2011 to present.Created species distribution model in R to project how F. mitchelli population will change based on collected data.Posters presentation at Texas A&M University 2023 LAUNCH Undergraduate Summer Research Poster Session.Posters presentation at the 2024 Undergraduate Research Scholars Symposium on thesis progress.Participated in and completed Undergraduate Research Scholars thesis program over above research.
