For the past 14 years I have been fortunate to work in the Film, TV, and digital content production industries – I count myself lucky that I get paid for practicing a skill I’m passionate about. From a very young age I was fascinated by all things TV, and had a particular (slightly unusual for an 11-year old) fascination with TV channel station idents and commercials.Having completed a TV broadcasting degree I started my career in London’s Soho working first in the post room, then later as a digital film technician for LipSync, a leading TV and Film post-production facility. After three years I moved to Channel 4 where I worked in channel presentation, creating continuity graphics and short clip-based trailer elements for on-air continuity promotion of shows across Channel 4, More 4, Film 4, and E4.The explosion of video content online was a real game-changer for me and my career as it allowed me to leave the traditional hierarchical structure of the TV industry. In 2008 I began working for content agency Redwood where, leading their in-house video production department, I created branded films for online audiences across their varied and impressive client portfolio: Boots, Volvo, Barclays, Virgin media, Fujitsu, BT, Royal Mail.In 2010 I began working as a freelancer. I work both with content and creative agencies as well as directly with companies, charities and individuals. I own all my own camera and editing equipment and always aim to offer the best possible value to my clients. Whatever the size, I bring enthusiasm, creativity and dedication to your project.
