• Responsible for managing the preconstruction and construction activities for education and research-related projects, including student recreation centers, health clinics, athletic facilities and laboratory/research buildings. • Establish and monitor procedures for controlling the cost, schedule, and quality of work in accordance with the construction documents. • Responsible for developing estimates and value engineering; negotiating contracts and purchase orders; checking shop drawings and submittals; approving material and equipment; forecasting projections and budget analysis; coordinating and scheduling multiple subcontractors and vendors; problem-solving and resolving field/construction-related issues; and ensuring projects are successfully completed and closed out.

• Assist the Project Managers and Superintendent in the final stages of constructing First Baptist Church of Woodstock, Georgia. • Ensuring all contracted work for the exterior of the 400,000 square-foot building is completed by the appropriate subcontractors, punch list items are finished, and documents necessary for closeout are provided. • Responsible for the completion of miscellaneous items necessary for the approval of both the Fire Marshal and the City of Woodstock, and for the achievement of the Certificate of Occupancy.
