3rd Year Student at Leeds Beckett University. I am Studying Human Geography and Planning and am looking to head into Planning after university. My favourite modules I have studied so far have been Introduction to planning where we looked into Planning issues like equality and how the planning profession is heavily male dominated but also how that could change in the future. Another one of my favourite modules is research methods as it allowed use to create maps of places like Knaresborough and it then allowed us to bring our ideas into where certain things could go for example, we placed potential plots for a project called Incredible edible which currently doesn't exist in Knaresborough but should it exist we have a plan of how it would look. I enjoyed it as it allowed us to incorporate our own ideas and thinking of how the place could look.Finally, whilst being at Leeds Beckett University, it has allowed for me to have access to societies such as the ski society, 7 aside football and also the Badminton society. This has provided a chance to meet new people and socialise with people also studying at university. For someone who is competitive I find football and badminton extremely fun but I also enjoy the ski society as its more of a social gathering as well as the trips they provide and organise.3rd
