Having moved to Canberra in mid-2020, I began my role as Senior Communication Strategist at contentgroup in December 2020. In my time at Nine I have been supervising producer and line producer on some of the biggest live sporting events in the country. As supervising producer on these broadcasts I have been responsible for editorial direction, executing sales integrations, formulating and producing short and longform feature stories, liaising with talent and line producing pre and post match shows. These roles require strong and clear communication skills, a detailed knowledge of a number of sports and an ability to establish and maintain relationships with various governing bodies. The events I have covered for Nine are: RUGBY LEAGUE - 2019 State of Origin series supervising producer; - 2019 NRL finals series supervising producer; - 2019 Sunday Footy supervising producer; - 2016-18 NRL season line producer; and - 2015-17 NRL Grand Final commentary box producer; and- 2011-2014 Sunday Footy Show producer. TENNIS - 2019 Australian Open primetime shift supervising producer (included producing all finals, as well as pre and post-match shows); and - 2019 Hopman Cup + Sydney International line producer. CRICKET - Supervising producer on several One Day Internationals in 2018; and - Line producer on Test matches (included line producing the Tea break for two seasons). RUGBY UNION - Producer on the 2011 + 2015 Rugby World Cups.

I was responsible for the production of sports section of Australia's number one selling newspaper, The Sunday Telegraph. Working with the Sports Editor, my responsibilities included: - Designing and laying out an entertaining and visually engaging 32-page sports section; - Editing copy; - Working to strict deadlines; - Liaising with journalists and sales teams.

As the sole sports journalist at The Area News, my job was to write, edit and produce a sports section at the award-winning, tri-weekly paper.The role demanded a strong work ethic and an ability to foster strong local contacts to generate stories.A passion for telling the stories of the Griffith locals was vital, and something I relished. During busy periods, I'd be required to produce up to 12 pages of local sport each edition (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
