The coding skills learnt from 8-bit machines directly lend themselves to the optimised world of embedded processors require.I also have fifteen years experience in the field of R&D electronics with specialities in digital/analogue/power circuit design and creating low level dedicated firmware for a range of MCUs. Applications range from environmental monitoring systems, yacht power generation and entire off-grid generators.The combination of the software and hardware skillsets means I can create highly agile projects with an unmatched degree of integration.I'm currently the CEO Omicron Technologies Limited and Disconnected energy Ltd. Omicron specialises in R&D, particularly low power autonomous data monitoring systems, smart lighting and advanced power monitoring/control.
