These include Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, Men’s Health and more popular titles and their digital websites. The accounts team totals around 40.- I performed ad hoc duties as requested by the senior management accounts team. These included posting month end journals for advertising and enterprise revenues totalling over £600,000 for the month of September 2012; I also posted pagination statistics for all magazine titles. I used pivot tables in Excel to complete the enterprise element of the task.- The above task required me to gather ad revenue data from the system, update it and allocate it to the appropriate magazines and websites. This information was used by the business to review performance and make forward planning decisions.- In accounts receivable I was given responsibility for identifying cash accumulating in a suspense account and allocating it correctly. I succeeded in identifying £130,000, leaving £55,000 remaining.- Other duties included chasing £50,000 worth of outstanding payments due for a series of events and shows. Within a week I managed to secure payments totalling £35,000. - Daily duties included processing ad revenue incoming payments, identifying the source, inputting it into the system and allocating it correctly.- Given further responsibility to open accounts for new clients in the Nexus system, raise invoices for international clients and credit and re-invoice erroneous invoices.- Received very positive feedback from the Financial Director, Group Credit Manager and Financial Controller.- Asked to return and work in subsequent vacations from university, Christmas 2012 and Easter 2013, when I completed similar duties.
