I started off in a welding and fabrication shop where I learnt all the basics of welding and fabrication. I then progressed to being a skilled welder on a number of different sites, quarry's mainly. I have undertaken and have knowledge in serious mechanical jobs including, the total strip down and re-build of Girotary Cone Crusher with the head alone weighing up to 50tonne.I then progressed further within my career and took to the first step onto the management ladder and becoming a Team Leader at a number one leading brick manufacturer. I have been in this role for nearly 2 years. Whilst gaining experience in managing a team of people, working alongside and liaising with higher management on a daily basis and prioritising, I have also undertaken and completed the following courses and familiarised with these systems.- IOSH Managing Safely- NEBOSH Accident Investigation - IOSH Working Safely - 5s - Continuous Improvement - Hydraulic and Pneumatic TrainingI'm a strong minded, driven individual that wants to succeed within my career.
