I am a physiotherapist employed at Consultant grade by the Rheumatology team at Salford Royal Hospital, a part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. I am also tasked with the role of Clinical Lead for the Rheumatology team. I am honoured to be currently fulfilling the role of Vice President (for Health Professionals) at the British Society for Rheumatology; in addition I co-chair the Rheumatology Physiotherapy UK professional network.I am a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Health and Education at Manchester Metropolitan University, teaching on the Advanced Practice masters module. I also teach on the ASPiRE and Masters in Rheumatology programmes at Keele University and contribute sessions to programmes on advanced practice, rheumatology and exercise physiology at the University of Salford.Please check out my ResearchGate site for the 1-2peer-reviewed articles and handful of abstracts I manage to publish each year - primarily about rehabilitation, but also service provision in Rheumatology.
