In this position, I worked in a seasoned "lead-by-action" or "first-to-plate" role for the majority of my previous responsibilities as Graphic Designer. Additional duties include setting standards and paving the way for new responsive website plans, creating templates and guidelines for staff use, and a continuing role as event photographer. In 2016, I also led a redesign of one of CII's major division sites, www.healthtech.com.

Illustrated, printed, and published a version of the classic Taoist-based folktale called The Stonecutter, available in local bookstores and libraries including Curious George and the Harvard Bookstore, and now online via the iPad and other devices through the San Francisco-based children’s book publishing company FarFaria (www.farfaria.com). A basic knowledge of tablet design was also required for the contract work.From 1999 to 2005, I created hundreds of black and white language learning illustrations for eight published works by practicing speech pathologist and publisher Marilyn Toomey, who taught them in her schools. As part of the job, I also assisted in cover designs for all eight books after the majority of the work was accomplished.Recent projects also include a campus map project for Yale Divinity School.

Currently working as Art Director, in tandem with the Cambridge Innovation Institute Design and Art Directors, leading by example in developing and implementing innovative, cohesive and distinct design solutions for all CHI related products and services.

Worked on deadline-driven, campaign-driven graphic design for a variety of subjects in the areas of life science, business, biotechnology, medicine, pharmaceutical and academic research. Campaign items included websites, detailed conference brochures, advertising, some design elements for mobile apps, catalogs, web banners, flyers, signage, and other important projects.

Created campaign-oriented graphic design & branding for a variety of digital research products and services in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment for universities, corporations, libraries and other markets in both the US and abroad. Unique projects included websites, microsites, flyers, print and web ads, brochures, photography, illustrations, hand-drawn maps, presentations, logos, icons for mobile apps, custom blogs, e-mail blasts, and several other projects. I also played a key role in developing new branding work for outside clients partnering with the company such as MeL, BadgerLink, West Virginia Library Commission, IESE, INFOhio, GALILEO, Louisiana State Library and others. From time to time, I typically assisted junior staff and print vendors with whatever they needed.
